How working together works.

The plain-English version of what you get and what I ask in return. For a custom job we'll confirm the specifics over email before anything starts.

What I do

I build and host author websites using the packages and add-ons listed on the site. You send the details, or answer a short questionnaire and I draft them for you.

Payment

Each package is billed in two halves: 50% up front to book the work and start, and the remaining 50% once your site is live. Hosting is $10 a month, or $100 for the year. Add-ons are the flat rates posted on the site, quoted before any work starts.

Revisions and preview

You get the rounds of revisions listed with your package, and a private preview before the balance is due. If it isn't right, we fix it.

If it isn't for you

You see the preview before the second payment. If you genuinely don't want the site at that point, tell me and I'll refund your deposit. Once your site is finished, live, and paid in full, the work is done and the sale is final.

What you own

Your domain and your site files are yours. Ask for them, or move the whole site elsewhere, whenever you like. If you leave, your hosting and its charge stop.

Changes after launch

New books, pages, and edits are priced per the add-ons list and quoted before I start. Nothing gets billed as a surprise.

What I can't promise

I build you a fast, professional site. I can't guarantee book sales, search rankings, or that third-party services like retailers and newsletter tools stay online, since those aren't mine to control.
